What are stone bricks
Stone bricks are a building block, to be exact a decorative one. You can use them to make good-looking houses in Minecraft.
At first, strongholds were made of stone bricks, but later they were added to other places (will get to that later).
Stone bricks originate from stone and can be crafted from it.
They also have some variations such as cracked stone bricks, mossy stone bricks, chiseled stone bricks, and stone brick slabs.
Where can I find stone bricks
They are spawned in the stronghold, jungle biomes (in the jungle temples), ocean biomes (exactly in ocean ruins), or can be found next to ruined nether portals.
If you are not the exploring type of person, you can always try to trade with the mason villager. A good trade would be 16 stone bricks for 1 emerald.
Aside from these 2 ways, your other option is to craft stone bricks but will need other items.
What materials do I need to craft stone bricks
To make stone bricks in Minecraft, you will need a pickaxe (a wooden pickaxe works), so you can start mining stone.
If you have a pickaxe with the silk touch enchantment, you will not proceed to how to make stone bricks. Silk touch helps you collect any material in its original state.
You will first receive cobblestone if you are a beginner and will need to add it to your furnace and smelt it.
Once the smelting process has finished, you will be receiving stone, which is one of the materials needed.
Depending on how many stone bricks you will need, it will be beneficial to grab yourself a lot of coal or use planks for smelting.

Once all the materials have been gathered, we can use our character’s crafting slots. Stone bricks need only 4 slots, so a crafting table will not be important for this process.
Add the 4 stone in all crafting slots and immediately 4 stone bricks will pop up.
For breaking stone bricks, you will not need an unordinary pickaxe. A wooden pickaxe can break them too.
Any pickaxe above the wooden tier will help you to break them faster.
Can I stack stone bricks in Minecraft
You can stack up to 64 stone bricks per slot and there is no other way of manipulating this number, except if you use mods or plugins.
